A multi‑billion‑dollar investment firm specializing in technology and consumer sectors across public and private markets is seeking a Private Investments Counsel to join its expanding legal team. In this role, you will partner closely with the GC/CCO to drive private investment transactions, oversee all phases of private fund lifecycles, navigate evolving regulatory landscapes, and manage a range of general corporate matters.

Base pay range

$250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the GC/CCO to execute private investment transactions and oversee all stages of private fund lifecycles.
• Provide strategic legal and regulatory guidance to investment and operations teams across a wide range of matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements, including NDAs, service contracts, and side letters.
• Monitor evolving regulatory developments and evaluate their impact on the firm’s operations and compliance strategy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, outside counsel and compliance advisors.

Qualifications

• J.D. and 5+ years of experience in PE transactions either at a law firm or in‑house within financial services.
• Strong ability to communicate complex legal concepts to internal stakeholders and collaborate cross‑functionally within the organization.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing documentation and compliance processes.
