The selected candidate will drive engineering excellence on this complex development program in Oklahoma City, OK.Position Responsibilities:Operate as the team’s Subject Matter Expert on Hydraulics and Fuels Subsystems.Lead systems and multifunctional engineering efforts for the SEIT IPT, ensuring adherence to technical quality standards throughout the product lifecycleCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to define and implement systems engineering processes and best practicesConduct trade studies and risk assessments to inform design decisions and optimize system performance, cost, and scheduleDevelop and maintain system requirements, interface control documents, and verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standardsOversee the integration of hardware and software components in System Integration Labs in Oklahoma CityOversee the verification and test of hardware and software components supporting the modification in San Antonio and ultimately ground and flight test at Edwards Air Force Base. Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovationPrepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders, including program management and engineering leadershipBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience5+ years of experience in hydraulic power or fuel systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategicallyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersExperience in the integration and verification phase of programs in the aerospace and defense industry.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceExperience verifying and validating complex systems.Experience in labs activities such as Hardware, Software Integration TestExperience in ground and flight test activities, including data analysisExperience leading teams to produce quality deliverables on scheduleExperience acting in a Technical Lead Engineer capacity.
