Number of Positions: Coverage

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 patients per day (APP); 8–12 admissions per night

Case Mix: Hospitalist medicine

Rounding: Included

FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 259

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff Available: MDs, APPs, Residents

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: 3–4 months

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, 2 months

JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Physician Assistant required

Licenses: Active Connecticut license required

Experience: Hospitalist experience required

Other Qualifications: Must be willing to work collaboratively with MDs, APPs, and residents

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct patient care as a hospitalist APP on day or night shifts

Manage admissions, with an average of 8–12 per night when on night shift

Respond to codes and rapid responses alongside physicians and residents

Work independently on night shifts at Rockville location

Collaborate with supervising physicians, APPs, and residents to manage patient census
