Quality Control Lead - Day Shift

Location: Monticello, WI
Pay: $25.13+ per hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (T-H)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead for a day shift opportunity in Monticello, WI. This temp-to-hire position is ideal for candidates with a background in the food manufacturing industry who are passionate about quality, food safety, and maintaining high production standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support quality control activities throughout the production process
• Perform quality inspections and verify products meet specifications and food safety standards
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Document quality findings and maintain accurate records
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions
• Work closely with production teams to maintain product quality and consistency
• Support audits, inspections, and food safety initiatives
• Train and guide team members on quality procedures and best practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Previous quality control experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP, and quality systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
