Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe Systems Admin for a Fulltime position with a client located in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid- 3 Days per week onsite) . Salary Range: $125,000 to $130,000/ Year(The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors) Title: Mainframe Systems Admin Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid- 3 Days per week onsite) Position Summary: Support current and future implementations of Unisys ClearPath MCP mainframes and related system software and hardware with a goal of maintaining maximum performance and reliability in the mainframe environment. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a combination of equivalent education and experience in systems configuration, programming, and integration Knowledge of systems programming concepts such as table and bit manipulation, messaging, queuing, database organization and disk I/O Experience with Unisys ClearPath Libra mainframe hardware installation and configuration including: System Editor OC Manager Network connectivity Storage network connectivity Experience with Unisys ClearPath Software Series VM based system installation and configuration General knowledge of Windows networking and iSCSI concepts Knowledge of the integration of the Microsoft Windows server, Linux server and Unisys mainframe environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits include but are not limited to: 401K PTO/Paid Holidays Of equal importance, the company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr
