### Exciting Opportunity for Skilled Health Care Professionals!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS prior to start
- General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:
- Diagnoses include:
- ARDS
- Sepsis
- Stroke
- STEMI
- DKA
- Post-op complications
- Cardiogenic shock
- GIB
- COPD exacerbation
- Encephalopathy
- Liver failure
- Drug overdose
- ESRD on CRRT
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- No Travel Pairs (regardless if one is on another unit)
- Ratio / Census:
- 1:2-3 (prepare for the possibility of taking a 3rd patient)
- 24 Rooms with average daily census of 19
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Request Time Off (RTO): 7 days maximum per contract
- Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified
- Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Holidays: Expected to work major holidays as assigned
- Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
- Clinical Screen: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical for fit, and sent to the manager for final decision.
- Locals Accepted: Same Rate
- Orientation Hours: Determined by contract length

Requirements:
- Previous Charge Experience: Required
- Years of Experience: 2
- Patient Ratio Experience: Required
- Specialized Skills:
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- Central line care/management
- CVA/Acute Stroke management
- CVVHD/CRRT
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR)
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
