Job Description We are a growing Houston-based specialty trading company looking for a driven Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our tight-knit team. This is a high-ownership role you'll manage a dedicated book of accounts, build lasting relationships with customers in the refining industry, and directly contribute to company revenue. What You'll Do Own and grow a dedicated account base through consistent outbound calling, relationship-building, and proactive follow-up Make high-volume outbound calls to existing customers and new prospects, including cold outreach to targeted accounts Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, responding quickly, solving problems, and building trust with every interaction Prepare accurate quotes, process work orders, and manage customer pricing schedules Track and maintain customer contact information and activity in the sales database and CRM Source and price products for customer resale, including items not currently in inventory Maintain up-to-date Last Known Retail Pricing (LKRP) records to ensure accurate and competitive quoting Prepare daily and weekly sales reports and activity summaries Assist with website inventory updates and support marketing initiatives Collaborate on proposals for catalyst, bed grading, and support products including warehouse services What We’re Looking For A natural communicator who is confident, personable, and comfortable making high-volume outbound calls Customer-obsessed: you follow up, you follow through, and you make people feel taken care of Organized and detail-oriented: you can juggle quotes, reports, and customer requests without dropping the ball Self-motivated and comfortable working in a small, fast-moving company where no two days are exactly the same Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with a CRM or sales database is a plus Prior inside sales, customer service, or B2B/industrial sales experience is preferred but a great attitude and strong work ethic will go a long way Why Join Us Small team, big impact: your work is visible and your contributions matter from day one Niche industry with built-in stability the refining sector provides a consistent, relationship-driven customer base Direct access to leadership and a real opportunity to grow with the company Competitive base salary with performance bonuses and profit-sharing: your effort is rewarded Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive package designed to reward performance and support your long-term success: Monthly base salary Annual bonus: 0–20% of base, tied to hitting and exceeding targets Company profit-sharing plan Health insurance — employer-paid individual premium 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor company contribution Mileage reimbursement at market rate (~$0.72/mile) Paid vacation and sick leave #J-18808-Ljbffr BRC
