Inventory Control Clerk I

Responsibilities Performing cycle counts: Regularly counting specific items from the inventory according to a predetermined schedule, comparing the physical count to the system record, and documenting any discrepancies. Inventory data management: Entering cycle count data into the inventory system, updating stock levels, and reconciling discrepancies. Identifying and resolving inventory issues: Investigating the root causes of inventory discrepancies, such as damaged goods, incorrect labeling, or system errors, and taking corrective actions. Maintaining product identification and location systems: Ensuring proper labeling and organization of inventory within the warehouse to facilitate accurate counting. Reporting and analysis: Generating reports on cycle count results, identifying trends, and highlighting areas for improvement. Auditing checks: Performing periodic audits of inventory to verify accuracy. Collaborating with warehouse staff: Working with other warehouse personnel to resolve inventory issues and coordinate receiving processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
