In This Role You Will Troubleshoot automated systems – including programmable logic controls, electrical components, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic interrelations. Take control of plant equipment reliability and own the results of operations by preventing breakdowns and improving preventive maintenance practices. Be a maintenance professional who understands the importance of documentation and data analysis as part of the job of sustaining equipment reliability. Be an electro‑mechanical technician familiar with the methodologies of reliability centered maintenance and able to take charge of designing, planning, and executing restoration/repair projects. What We’re Looking For Journeyman level knowledge regarding electrical and control systems, power transmission systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and multi‑craft maintenance. Must be willing to work on shift (12‑hour 2‑2‑3 shift rotation, fixed days or nights). Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company Safety Rules & GMP’s. Capable of leading and directing a crew of contractors in the execution of a job you have planned or assisted in planning. Be an exemplary contributor to team‑driven projects and be a willing leader on the projects that you are suited to lead. A clear and effective communicator in verbal, written and meeting settings. Maintain and improve equipment through analysis of data, preventive maintenance procedures, predictive maintenance practices and reliability centered maintenance strategies. Possess the desire to advance and develop your own knowledge and skill set. Having the drive to hold your teammates accountable to the same level of expectation that you hold yourself.
