Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong Mechanical Engineering background to drive VAVE and cost-reduction initiatives for semiconductor equipment .

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate cost-reduction opportunities through BOM, system design, and should-cost analysis.

• Lead VAVE projects from opportunity identification through implementation.

• Perform technical validation, calculations, design reviews, and system-level impact analysis.

• Develop and present cost-saving proposals, including projected savings and technical justification.

• Work with suppliers on cost negotiations and implementation of cost-reduction designs.

• Lead cross-functional teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Product Marketing.

• Manage project execution, technical risks, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.

• Present recommendations and project results to senior stakeholders and executive-level audiences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field .

• Strong experience in VAVE and cost reduction .

• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or semiconductor manufacturing equipment .

• Strong Mechanical Engineering background.

• Experience leading technical projects involving cost-reduction initiatives.

• Experience with supplier negotiations and cost analysis.

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing/fabrication environments.

• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

Experience with NX/UG-NX, Teamcenter, or Smartsheet is a plus.
