**Experience Required:** - 2 years of experience - Previous charge experience preferred - Community hospital experience preferred - Charting system experience required (Cerner) **Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) **Licensure:** - In-state license required and must be in hand prior to submission - Pending licenses are not accepted **Skills and Qualifications:** - Experience with labor and delivery-related tasks: Labor, induction, scheduled and unscheduled C-sections, antenatal and triage patients, etc. - Experience with equipment and procedures such as CADD epidural pumps, birthing and peanut balls, Alaris IV pumps, Phillips monitoring (wired and wireless), Periwatch, Hillrom labor beds, Draeger Radiant warmers, Vein light, v scan. - Administration of blood and blood products, adult cardiac arrest management, APGAR scoring, high-risk deliveries, sterile speculum exams, neonatal resuscitation, newborn assessments, and more. - Able to manage patient ratios: 1:1 for active labor, 1:2 if not in active labor **Additional Requirements:** - Must be able to float to MCH (Maternal and Child Health) - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Familiar with AWHONN staffing guidelines for patient ratios **Education Requirements:** - Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
