Registered Nurse (RN) - SICU Surgical ICU

Job Overview Department: Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center – Critical Care: ICU (3rd Floor). Status: Full time. Hours per week: 36. Schedule: 3 12‑hour straight night shifts per week with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Where You Will Work: The Surgical ICU is a 21‑bed unit caring for a broad spectrum of high‑acuity patients, including abdominal transplant, general abdominal surgery, ENT surgery, and vascular surgery. Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
