MRI Technologist

This position involves a Tuesday to Friday schedule with 4 × 10-hour shifts from 1 PM to 11:30 PM.

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services in a Level 1 trauma hospital. This position requires you to perform MRI scans using Siemens 1.5T or 3T (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida) and Philips equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans as per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing instruction and reassurance.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile environment.
• Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals regarding patient needs and imaging results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Proficient experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T and Philips MRI systems.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
