Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Monday - Friday

Adecco is seeking an experienced Tool Room Machinist for a leading manufacturing client. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing, maintaining, and repairing tooling that supports high-volume production while helping improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
What You'll Do

• Fabricate precision tooling and replacement components using manual and CNC machining equipment
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM machines
• Repair, modify, sharpen, and rebuild production tooling to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications
• Verify finished components using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and other inspection tools
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Support engineering projects, tooling improvements, prototype work, and new product launches
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve tooling concerns

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical training in machining, toolmaking, or a related trade is preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Toolmaker, Tool Room Machinist, Precision Machinist, or similar manufacturing role
• Experience operating manual and CNC machining equipment
• Proficiency with:
  
  • Surface grinders
  • Milling machines
  • Engine lathes
  • EDM equipment
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including:
  
  • Micrometers
  • Dial indicators
  • Height gauges
  • Calipers
• Knowledge of tool steels, machining practices, and heat-treated materials

Preferred Experience
High-speed stamping or progressive die manufacturing

• Bihler or Bruderer equipment
• CAD/CAM software
• New tooling development or prototype work
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or 5S practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Lift and move tooling, materials, and equipment as needed, up to 50lbs.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
