Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Lab Technician near Alameda, CA!

A Temporary to Hire Opportunity Shift: M-F 10am-6:30pm Compensation: $24/hour

Position Summary The Cell Processing Specialist processes, isolates, and performs quality control testing on human primary cells and biological samples. This role supports the production of high-quality cell-based products by following laboratory procedures, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review production schedules and daily laboratory priorities.
• Process human blood samples using centrifugation and cell-isolation techniques.
• Prepare reagents and buffers.
• Perform quality control testing on cell products.
• Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
• Operate standard laboratory equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in life sciences or a related field.
• At least one year of laboratory experience in life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or a related industry; academic laboratory training may be considered.
• Manufacturing or production laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet quality standards and production timelines.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
