Salary: $450,000 - 450,000 per year Requirements:

• We require completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency.
• We require fellowship training in Glaucoma.
• We require eligibility for Louisiana medical licensure.
• We look for a strong commitment to high-quality patient care and academic involvement.

• We provide glaucoma specialty care in a dual-practice setting across private and academic environments.
• We split clinical time between our established private practice and LSU Health New Orleans.
• We maintain a weekly schedule of 4 clinic days and 1 dedicated surgery day.
• We carry integrated clinical and academic duties.
• We participate in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration through our academic affiliation.

We offer a full-time Ophthalmologist – Glaucoma Specialist opportunity through LSU Health New Orleans in partnership with a respected private medical group in Houma, Louisiana. This dual academic and private practice role combines the autonomy and earning potential of private practice with the educational, research, and collaborative advantages of an academic appointment. Compensation includes a $450,000 guaranteed base salary, a $30,000 sign-on bonus, a $10,000 relocation stipend, productivity-based collection bonuses, comprehensive benefits through the medical group, and supportive onboarding.
