Registered Nurse New Graduate Med Surg and Intensive Care Unit

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The RN utilizes the nursing process, technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence‑based practice, and coordination with other health team members. Responsibilities Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans. Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Uses resources as needed. Promotes the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments based on business need. May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift. Works nights and/or weekends as identified. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Certification relevant to the Med Surg/ICU scope preferred. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum one year of RN experience for Experienced RN positions; not required to attend the nurse residency program. BSN completion within four years of hire unless having fifteen years of continuous RN experience in an acute care setting; otherwise suspension or termination. Leave may extend this period. Ability to perform all essential duties listed above. Shift & Compensation Full‑time (36 hours per week) variable shifts—current need for night shifts. The hourly rate ranges from $34.62 to $52.51, depending on experience. Benefits & Sign‑On Bonus Up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and wellness programs.
