RN - Neuro ICU

Neuro ICU Registered NurseThis position requires a registered nurse in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. The unit cares for various types of neurological patients. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in managing patients with strokes and other neurological conditions. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and managing critical care equipment. The staffing ratio may vary between 2:1 to 3:1 depending on the patient load. Candidates should be open to floating to other critical care units as needed. Every other weekend shift is required. Special skills required include ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and telemetry. This role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-level patient care. Scrubs are not provided; candidates are required to wear navy blue or white. All requested time off must be pre-approved, and no additional time off will be accepted after signing. Travel experiences are preferred. The unit operates within a comprehensive stroke center environment.
