Laundry Attendant - Part Time

Job Purpose:- The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of linens, towels, and other laundry items to provide guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay. This full-time position requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers and dryers ensuring they are in good working condition.- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures and standards.- Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, and wear, ensuring that only items meeting quality standards are distributed for guest use.- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.- Follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and organized laundry area.- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels to guest rooms and other hotel facilities.- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor for prompt resolution.- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional demeanor and providing excellent service to guests and colleagues.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.- Experience with commercial laundry equipment is advantageous.Required Skills and Abilities:- Ability to operate and maintain laundry equipment efficiently.- Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads.- Knowledge of safety protocols related to laundry operations.- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and guests. #J-18808-Ljbffr Larkin Hospitality
