RN – Med Surg/Telemetry

Location: Simpsonville, SC

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for orthopedic, bariatric, and telemetry patients and be comfortable managing a diverse patient population.

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers considered with 3+ years of specialty experience

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-Hour Night Shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the care continuum
