Benefits Consultant

DIGITAL INSURANCE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a book of fee/commissioned revenue business. Manage all aspects of client project work for medical and ancillary lines, including renewal negotiations, marketing projects, pre‑renewal forecasting, claim projection analysis, and full‑insured/self‑insured funding alternatives. Conduct strategic planning, cost/benefit analysis, and budget forecasting projects. Build and maintain relationships with assigned clients, addressing their requests promptly. Attend and organize client meetings to discuss financial and service issues. Strategize open enrollment communications with clients, including employee meetings as needed. Develop relationships with insurance carriers to secure competitive costs and marketplace awareness for clients. Utilize D365 to maintain client information and workflows. Identify new industry trends and developments in the insurance marketplace. Assist Producers in pursuing new and existing client business opportunities. Help train and develop staff on employee‑benefit related products. Interface with new and existing clients to meet service and related needs. Support special projects as assigned. Analyze and review due diligence for private equity partners and clients undergoing mergers and acquisitions; manage related reporting for partners. May require lifting packages up to 25 pounds and occasional travel up to 25% locally, with some national travel. Qualifications and Requirements Strong knowledge of benefit insurance coverage. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and D365 (CRM). Excellent organizational, critical‑thinking, and attention‑to‑detail skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a pleasant disposition. Ability to manage client needs and multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Team player experience. Minimum 10 years of experience in the employee benefit field. College diploma or higher; Brokers license required.
