Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Civil Project Manager to assist with our projects in Detroit!Department: Civil/MunicipalEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Detroit, MIWorkplace type: OnsiteCompensation: $121,000 - $148,000 / yearKey ResponsibilitiesManage civil engineering projects from concept through construction, including site development, roadway, utility, stormwater, and infrastructure improvementsServe as the primary point of contact for municipal and private-sector clientsLead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and risk managementPrepare and oversee the development of engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimatesCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including planning, environmental, surveying, and construction servicesEnsure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulationsLead meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholdersProvide technical oversight, mentorship, and professional development for junior staffSupport business development efforts, including proposal development and client pursuitsMonitor project performance and ensure adherence to quality control standardsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)Professional Engineer (PE) license requiredMinimum of 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, including:Civil site developmentMunicipal infrastructure (roads, utilities, stormwater systems)Private development and infrastructure projectsProven experience in project management within a consulting environmentStrong understanding of permitting processes and regulatory coordinationProficiency with civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsBenefits401(k) w/ company matchHealth insurance w/ HSA option, Vision, Dental, LifeFlexible schedulePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementCatalytic Coaching - Employees draft a development plan aimed at improving contributions in their current job and increasing the potential for other opportunities.
