Description Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. What You Will Do Deliver products to stores. 25 stops per week. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Home Daily. Schedule Sunday through Thursday AM start. Two consecutive days off. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence. Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-exempt interstate DOT medical card required. 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years. 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. English language proficiency to comply with federal law. Work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation and drug screening. Position is regulated by transportation department or designated safety sensitive; ability to work in constant state of alertness and to accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others. Physical Requirements Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; able to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
