Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. Working alongside medical providers and the care team, you will offer personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
• Deliver exceptional care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by simplifying complex medical terminology.

Qualifications Required:

• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
