Litigation Attorney

Litigation Associate Opportunity Direct Counsel is seeking a litigation associate to join a highly regarded national law firm in its Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level associate to work within a dynamic business and commercial litigation group. The ideal candidate will have between 2–6 years of litigation experience and be eager to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative team handling a broad range of high-stakes matters. Key Responsibilities Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and client correspondence Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and court appearances Participate in client meetings and communicate updates and strategy clearly and professionally Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and outside experts to execute litigation strategy Review and organize evidence, case files, and exhibits Stay current on relevant changes in law and precedent Engage in pro bono matters to promote access to justice Ideal Candidate Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in Florida 2–6 years of litigation experience at a reputable law firm Federal or state court clerkship is a strong plus Excellent academic credentials, legal research, analytical, and writing skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment Strong interpersonal, communication, and professional judgment Collaborative team player with initiative and leadership capability Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $235,000 – $330,000, depending on class year and experience Competitive bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off Hybrid work schedule with regular in-office presence required
