This position involves the preparation work necessary for delivery of merchandise as well as basic warehouse functions. The position will occasionally require the employee to work overtime hours. Essential Duties:

1. Unwraps and assembles furniture at the assigned dock.
2. Cleans and inspects merchandise for errors and defects.
3. Touch-up merchandise as needed
4. Re-wraps merchandise for delivery
5. Stages merchandise for delivery truck loading
6. Assist with Customer Pick-ups (CPUs)
7. Unload Receiving inventory containers and trucks
8. Completes other duties as assigned by warehouse leadership team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
