Netsuite functional consultant

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) implementation to lead and support NetSuite ERP projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring NetSuite ARM, optimizing revenue recognition processes, and ensuring successful implementation aligned with accounting standards such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, finance teams, technical consultants, and project managers throughout the implementation lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NetSuite ARM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Analyze business processes and translate business requirements into NetSuite functional solutions.
• Configure and customize NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) to support complex revenue recognition scenarios.
• Design revenue recognition rules, revenue arrangements, allocation schedules, and fair value pricing.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to optimize revenue management processes.
• Conduct workshops, business process mapping, gap analysis, and solution demonstrations.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical developers for customizations and integrations.
• Perform system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business users.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with post-implementation support, enhancements, and system optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant.
• Hands-on experience implementing NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, ASC 606, and IFRS 15.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP modules including Financials, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, and Billing.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Experience with data migration, system integration, and testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments.
