Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment on a per diem basis for select dates, including September 14, 15, 16, 18, and 21. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing a high-volume prescription workload while delivering exceptional patient care.

Location:

• Wyoming, Michigan

Schedule:

• September 14, 15, 16, and 21: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• September 18: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions using the Pioneer RX computer system
• Collaborate with one other pharmacist and lead a team of 5 to 7 pharmacy technicians
• Manage prescription volume ranging from 300 to 800 scripts per day, with peak volumes on Mondays
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Provide excellent patient counseling and medication guidance in a fast-paced retail setting

Qualifications:

• Current, active Michigan Pharmacy license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency with Pioneer RX is a strong asset
• Ability to manage high prescription volumes efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
