Payroll Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support the Accounting Division by performing complex payroll transactions, reconciliations, and related financial processes. Upcoming Salary Increases 2% increase effective July 4, 2026 2.5% increase effective January 2027 3.5% increase effective July 2027 3.25% increase effective July 2028 2.85% increase effective July 2029 Key Responsibilities Prepare and process bi‑weekly payroll. Maintain accurate payroll records. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and collective bargaining agreements. Perform reconciliations and related financial processes. Qualifications Technical knowledge and skill in payroll‑related areas. Emotional intelligence and ability to manage relationships. Information monitoring to collect and review necessary data. Decision‑making skills to analyze and choose the best course of action. Quality orientation to maintain thoroughness and accuracy. Customer‑service mindset, internal or external. Conflict resolution ability to handle antagonistic situations. Adaptability to change work responsibilities or environment.
