Role Description The Practice Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Louisville, KY, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the surgical eye care practice. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising front desk and clinical support teams, and ensuring efficient patient flow from check‑in through post‑operative follow‑up. The Practice Manager monitors operational processes, supports compliance with clinical and administrative standards, and collaborates with physicians to enhance patient experience and access to care. Daily responsibilities also include overseeing revenue cycle functions such as billing, collections, and reporting, managing vendor relationships, and supporting implementation of new systems or process improvements. The Practice Manager engages in staff training, performance reviews, and team communication to reinforce the organization’s mission, values, and service standards. Qualifications Experience in medical practice management or healthcare administration, including staff supervision and clinic operations. Skills in scheduling, workflow coordination, and patient flow optimization within an outpatient or surgical setting. Knowledge of billing processes, revenue cycle management, and basic financial reporting for a medical practice. Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians. Ability to utilize practice management software and other digital tools; proficiency with common office applications. Demonstrated commitment to patient‑centered care, quality, safety, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
