Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist - Freight Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Senior Logistics Specialist - Freight Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Global Freight team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Milpitas, CA Pay Range: $40-$50 Shift: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Coordinate end-to-end freight movements across air, ocean, truckload, LTL, parcel, and intermodal shipments. Ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery by monitoring shipment statuses and troubleshooting exceptions such as delays, damages, and capacity constraints. Prepare and validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork. Communicate shipment schedules and updates to internal stakeholders. Serve as the day-to-day contact for freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs, and customs brokers. What's Needed? High School or College degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent work experience. 5-8+ years of experience in freight coordination, shipping, or logistics operations. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping, Incoterms, and basic customs processes. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar logistics platforms.
