Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at Middletown Hotel Management. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest. Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel and brand standards Maintain a clean and fully stocked housekeeping cart at all times Follow appropriate entry requirements for all guestrooms Use only hotel-approved cleaning agents and follow proper handling procedures Record room status on the assignment sheet and update codes by phone Report any damage, hazards, or maintenance needs in guest rooms to the supervisor Ensure all guest rooms are secured at all times Keep chute rooms and linen rooms clean, neat, and secured Follow the hotel's lost and found procedures Sign in and sign out all assigned keys daily Qualifications Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Strong written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds individually; ability to assist in moving heavier loads with team support Requires manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and supplies Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and to identify guest belongings left behind Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying temperatures Middletown Hotel Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Middletown-Hotel-Management
