This nursing team provides care to post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-paced environment with various acuity levels./ppThis registered nurse position on the intermediate PCU will allow you to build relationships with your patients in a positive environment led by supportive and engaging leadership that believes in developing a strength driven career path. This is a great opportunity to master your nursing skills while learning new skills and growing your career./ppThis intermediate unit will allow you to gain RN experience with:/pulliFast paced environment/liliVariety in acuity levels, conditions and treatments/liliICU stabilization/liliWork with patients across all specialties/liliHigh patient turnover/liliPost-surgical and medical patients/li/ulpShift details: day shift 6:45 pm to 7:15 am. This position comes with night and weekend shift differential./ppThe work:/pulliAccountable for utilizing the nursing process./liliResponsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes./liliThis clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures./li/ulpJob requirements:/pulliLess than 1 year basic life support - American Heart Association or Red Cross/liliRegistered nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)/liliBachelors degree - nursing/li/ulpFull time night (United States of America).
