Quality Assurance Specialist (Salesforce Tester)

Salary: $111,000 - 151,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce applications
• Ability to independently develop testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and system-testing documentation for new Salesforce applications
• Experience using Azure DevOps for documentation, iterative development collaboration, task management, testing, and reporting
• Understanding of Agile, iterative, and traditional software development lifecycle practices and standards as they apply to testing
• Knowledge of software design, development, testing, implementation, requirements analysis, validation tools, performance management, troubleshooting, and technical documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, service orientation, and decision-making skills
• Ability to identify and document business requirements, analyze information, prepare accurate reports, and collaborate with technical and business personnel
• Knowledge of commonly used query languages, data recovery, backup and recovery procedures, and relevant IT policies and standards

• Work with business personnel to define and approve requirements, analyze impacts and dependencies, and contribute to design reviews
• Review code and help ensure development work meets applicable standards; serve as a technical lead when assigned
• Develop test designs, plans, cases, data, and automation procedures; coordinate and execute unit, system, regression, load, and performance testing
• Coordinate debugging, defect tracking, user acceptance testing, implementation, deployment, source control, and post-production support
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance standards, testing practices, and software development lifecycle criteria
• Analyze systems, recommend application solutions, test and correct programs, and investigate production issues and potential vulnerabilities
• Create and maintain application documentation, training materials, user guides, source-code documentation, and testing reports
• Assess application performance, benchmark response times, and report on performance measures
• Collaborate with technical staff and business personnel, share technical information, lead discussions, and provide recommendations
• Assist with workload estimates and project planning; guide development tasks and provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members
