Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office Office Assignment: One office location only Pay: $30–$36 per hour Benefits: Full benefits included + 21 days PTO We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Fort Lauderdale, FL for an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy office. This role is focused on helping patients carry out treatment plans, improve movement quality, and make steady progress through active rehabilitation. The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist and assist patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, weakness, stiffness, balance issues, and mobility challenges. Schedule Options: 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Responsibilities: Follow treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Lead patients through exercises, mobility drills, strengthening, and balance activities Monitor patient response and report changes to the PT Reinforce home exercise programs and proper technique Assist with functional training and movement-based recovery Maintain clear and accurate treatment notes Help keep clinic sessions organized and on schedule Active Florida PTA License Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Comfortable working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting Dental and vision insurance 401K plan with company match 21 days PTO Full benefits included Take your PTA career forward in Fort Lauderdale and support patients as they regain movement, strength, and daily function.
