Tax Credit and Impact Finance Tax Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a dedicated Tax Associate Attorney in Irvine, CA, with a minimum of five years of transactional tax experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in community development transactions involving new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and renewable energy investment tax credits. Duties Advise clients on tax credit transactions and impact finance matters. Draft and review legal documents related to tax credit transactions. Collaborate with a team to develop innovative tax solutions. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis. Requirements Five or more years of transactional tax experience. Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs preferred. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
