Director of Content
DGS Office of External Affairs
Iowa PBS is seeking a Director of Content to lead content planning and development for local and statewide programming across broadcast and streaming platforms. This leadership role manages approximately 35 staff members and reports to the General Manager, overseeing editorial integrity, budget management, and strategic programming decisions. The Director will supervise production and operations teams while developing community partnerships and exploring innovative production models to serve Iowans. Key qualifications: Strong commitment to journalistic standards and editorial integrity Broad experience managing programming and production for broadcast and streaming media Proven leadership and management skills in supervising creative staff and managing budgets In-depth knowledge and experience in public media production and programming Successful track record of building internal collaborations for effective program production and distribution Expertise in strategic planning and data-driven decision-making #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
