Country Club Engineer

About the Job

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep and operational efficiency of our facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs across a variety of building systems and equipment throughout the club. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to respond quickly to both routine and urgent maintenance needs.

What You Do:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and minor masonry work
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and monitor system performance
• Identify and address building safety concerns in a timely and effective manner
• Support maintenance programs by completing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
• Assist leadership with identifying, ordering, and managing maintenance supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and order general supplies for the country club as needed
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours situations when required
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and management
• Work with attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through while maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude
• Adapt to changing priorities and maintain schedule flexibility to meet operational needs
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

• At least six months of experience in a maintenance, facilities, or similar role
• Preferred experience in construction or facility maintenance, including supervisory or lead responsibilities
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry fundamentals
• Ability to solve practical problems independently and make sound decisions in varied situations
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working in environments with moderate noise levels
