Registered Nurse, Operating Room. Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings; three 12-hour shifts per week with on-call responsibilities as required, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license; current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) card; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Responsibilities: Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; provide explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons; recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment; manage conflict through professional communication; fulfill core measure responsibilities; maintain complete and accurate medical records; and participate in continuing education.
• Additional Information: On-call responsibilities may be required. The role involves collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team and support of a healthy workplace environment.
