Job Description
The HVAC Technician specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves ensuring system performance and safety compliance through diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer service within a local travel area. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the technician collaborates with team members and utilizes standard HVAC tools and software to deliver quality services and technical reporting, supporting company standards and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems for residential and commercial properties
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive services
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and components
- Conduct equipment testing and safety compliance checks
- Document work orders, technical reports, and inventory usage
- Manage HVAC parts and equipment inventory
- Collaborate with team members and provide training support
- Communicate effectively with customers on service needs and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in HVAC systems, Experience Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- EPA Certification
- HVAC Technician License
- A2L Certification
- Knowledge of HVAC system installation and preventive maintenance
- Proficiency in electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Strong customer communication and safety procedure understanding
- Experience with technical documentation and time management
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
