Medical Records Clerk
Excelcare at Egg Harbor, a skilled nursing and rehab community, is hiring a Medical Records Clerk to keep resident charts accurate, organized, and confidential.
Responsibilities
- Maintain resident records in the EHR and on paper
- Process admissions, discharges, and chart audits
- Follow up with staff on missing documentation and signatures
- Handle records requests in line with HIPAA
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical records or healthcare office experience preferred (long-term care a plus)
- Detail-oriented and organized
