Step into a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 academic year! This onsite, full-time contract position allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of K-12 students by providing vital psychological support and services. Begin in August 2026 and continue through May 2027, supporting a vibrant school community renowned for its dedication to student well-being and success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Specialized knowledge in child and adolescent psychology
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) or similar frameworks is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop individualized intervention and support plans
- Deliver direct counseling services and crisis intervention when needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student success
- Serve as a vital resource for parents and school staff, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
