International Affairs Analyst (Remote)

Amyand Consulting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented International Affairs Analyst (Junior) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in analyzing global trends, political developments, and economic conditions to provide insights that inform our consulting strategies. As a junior analyst, you will work closely with senior team members to support research projects, analyze data, and compile reports that assist in decision-making for our diverse range of clients. Your work will involve monitoring international relations, assessing geopolitical risks, and contributing to policy recommendations that align with our clients' objectives. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on international developments and trends.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data pertinent to global affairs.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Monitor and summarize news articles, reports, and publications relevant to international relations.
Support senior analysts in project management and strategic planning efforts.
Participate in team discussions and brainstorming sessions to generate insights.
Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance analytical skills and knowledge of international affairs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrated passion for international affairs and a willingness to learn and grow.
