Details\n \n Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting \n Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM \n Treats a range of orthopedic and neurologic conditions including post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgeries, total hip and knee replacements, low back pain, and cervicalgia \n Also treats neurologic conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and muscular dystrophy \n Utilizes clinic modalities and exercise equipment \n Requirements\n \n State license required if applicable, must be obtained and in good standing before start date \n Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting required \n Current BLS certification required \n Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education required \n Assessment and body mechanics skills required \n Additional Information\n \n Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients per physician referral or direct access \n Supervises physical therapy assistants and PT technicians in following the plan of care \n Performs specialized evaluations including Work Hardening, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and post-offer testing such as WorkSTEPS or APET \n Conducts ergonomic evaluations and job analyses for injured workers \n Communicates regularly with referring physicians and rehab nurses regarding patient progress \n Assists with scheduling, referrals, and basic administrative duties as needed \n May participate in community events and business development activities on behalf of the clinic \n Open to first-time travelers \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-735684.
