Our Hospice Nursing Aides may assist patients' family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health-care routines. Nursing Aides consult on a regular basis with their supervising registered nurses in terms of keeping hospice team members apprised of our patients' progression and the families' needs.Qualifications:Must meet one of the following requirements. 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.Education and experience, preferredMay demonstrate an active willingness to learn the required skills in lieu of existing technology skills.Education and experience, state specificALASKA - Must hold a home health aide certificate ALABAMA - no additional state specified education, experience requirements ARKANSAS - May be a nursing student who has demonstrated competency in proving basic nursing skills with submitted documentation from the director or dean of the school of nursing, in lieu of being a CNA.
