Monday-Thursday 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM or Monday-Friday 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Job Description

The Surgical First Assistant will provide critical support in the operating room, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure the highest quality of patient care. The role requires a strong background in various surgical procedures, particularly those involving the DaVinci Robot and specialties like Orthopedics, Spine, Gynecology, Neurology, and General Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries and procedures utilizing the DaVinci Robot.
• Maintain optimal patient safety and care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation and communication.
• Manage instruments and supplies effectively, ensuring prompt availability during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active RN license and RNFA certification.
• At least 2 years of current experience as a Surgical First Assistant.
• First Assist experience with DaVinci Robot, Orthopedics, Spine, Gynecology, Neurology, and General Surgery is essential.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
