Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignments for a travel position in Louisville, KY. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide direct patient care, employing advanced clinical skills for surgical and medical patients.
• Manage blood administration and various patient care techniques such as skeletal, bucks traction, and wound care.
• Administer medications including Heparin gtt, pain management via PCA, and monitor critical parameters.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and maintain detailed records using Cerner EMR system.
• Ensure high standards of nursing practice and patient safety are maintained.

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Valid RN licensure with minimum 2 years of STAC experience, 3 years preferred.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Proficiency with blood administration, traction methods, wound care, high flow oxygen, and PCA pain management.
• Experience with Cerner EMR, Omnicell dispensing, and usage of ICU Medical IV Pumps.
