Marklund is seeking a highly motivated and mission-centeredindividual for the position of Senior GraphicDesigner. This is a full-time position basedout of our Geneva facility. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00PM. A hybrid schedule is available with twowork-from-home days a week after completion of the 90 day trainingperiod. The salary for this role is $62,000- $65,000 based onqualifications and experience. Who We Are: Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community. Position Overview As part of the Marketing & Communications Department, the SeniorGraphic Designer designs marketing collateral for print and digitalmaterials following all branding guidelines and standards in supportof Marklund’s various services and programs. Essential Job Functions Utilizes graphic design skills to help create marketing andfundraising materials, newsletters, ads, web pages and email blasts. Makes graphic and content updates to Marklund website. Produces marketing/event videos, including Top Hat Ball video content. Assists with campaigns from start to finish, developing concepts, designing assets and working with print/digital vendors. Produce high-quality materials while adhering to deadlines. Attends and assists at special events. Other Duties as assigned. Experience and Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or Fine Arts Preferred: 9 years professional experience not including freelance/internships Non-profit experience is preferred Must be proficient in Adobe Suite software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Must have experience in web content management systems.
