Job Role

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to promote improvements in patients' mobility, cognition, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner effectively with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver thorough, patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy obtained from an accredited institution
• Continued education or advanced certifications are encouraged and fully supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
