Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in pediatric and neonatal care is sought for assignment in Ottumwa, Iowa. The position involves providing respiratory therapy services in a busy healthcare facility, with a focus on adult, geriatric, and potentially micro-premie to hospice patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their Iowa license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
• Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Iowa State Respiratory Therapist License; Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; 1-2 years of experience; must have some neonatal and pediatric experience; and be able to start on Monday or Tuesday.

• Additional Information:
  • Onboarding requirements include Iowa SING Background Check (criminal and child abuse checks) fully cleared prior to start with no instant or statewide searches accepted.
  • Mandatory reporter certification for both Child and Adult populations is required.
  • Drug screening involves a 10-panel test including opiates.
  • Must be willing to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility if necessary.
